El Salvador
St. Paul’s is developing a relationship with the Anglican community in San Salvador. After an initial clergy trip in 2007, we returned in May 2008 with a group of 5 parishioners for a joint mission trip with St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Newton Lower Falls. The trip included fellowship with the local community and a road construction project.
Katrina Relief
St. Paul’s has been closely involved in assisting the residents of the Gulf Coast Region after Hurricane Katrina. Members of the parish have traveled to the region to assist in rebuilding each year since 2006.
Haiti
St. Paul’s has had a relationship for more than 20 years with the Holy Innocents Parish and school in Port de Paix as well as St. Jacques Mission at Marne Rosette in Haiti. The Vacation Bible School sponsored a school supply drive for Holy Innocents, and we shipped over 140 pounds of school supplies. Our annual financial assistance supports teacher salaries at Holy Innocents, growing schools on the island of La Tortue and Rosette, and new toys for the children in Kindergarten at Holy Innocents.
