Introducing the Living Compass program at St. Paul's

St. Paul’s Wellness Ministry has adopted the framework and guidance of the Living Compass program.  Living Compass is a ministry that helps us live into the wholeness that is God’s gift to us through Christ and through our baptism. As Christians, we seek wellness in response to that gift by looking at the choices we make in our lives and the impact those choices have on our well-being.

The dimensions of wellness that Living Compass addresses – heart, soul, strength, and mind – are not new. These words were written and spoken thousands of years ago in both the Old and New Testaments.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength and with all your mind.
— Deuteronomy 6:5, Luke 10:27

As these ancient verses reveal, wellness is not a new topic but is actually very old. Living Compass provides a way to work proactively on these four dimensions, creating a life that is filled with vitality, both for us and for others.
