We started our day serving breakfast and cleaning up afterwards for Camp Restore. Our work today involved helping teachers and the assistant orinicipal at the Kipp:Believe primary school. We sorted books according to reading level, cleaned closets and fridges, painted and touched up hallways, moved furniture and repaired library hangings etc. Good work in a great setting you will see some of the spirit of the place in the photos. I was proud of the care and effort all our team made. We ended our day with a short trip to the Milk Jar and then headed into New Orleans to the French Quarter. There was lots of great music being played tonight on the streets. Norma was reunited with some of her college friends and beignets were the final course of the day. Our reflection time on our experience of being beloved was held in the van on the way home. We will sleep well tonight.
