Many parents have struggled to find a balance between the convenience of online banking and wanting their children to actually see them fulfill their pledge each week or each month. One solution is to continue to put money – perhaps a nominal amount – into the offering plate each week. Another solution is to take a specially-designated yellow offering plate card, to be found in the pews and in the back of the church, and put that in instead. These cards indicate that your gift has been given in other ways.
