The Anti-Racism Steering Committee invites you to a screening of Still I Rise on Sunday, December 1, at 3 p.m. in Sherrill Hall. This compelling feature-length documentary explores the roles of race and gender in commercial sexual exploitation. Shot over the course of 5 years, the film follows Leah Albright-Byrd, a survivor-advocate, and Holly Joshi, the first woman chief of staff of the Oakland Police Department, as they seek to address the roots of sex trafficking.
